Great Spa Hotel Stay

spacious room comfortable bed friendly staff great breakfast

The room was spacious and clean I found the bed to be very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel were both very enjoyable meals. Staff were professional friendly and helpful making my stay excellent. The gym facilities were great and the breakfast set me up well for the day.

The spa pool was unavailable due to high chlorine levels which was a small disappointment.

The hotel is conveniently located near Robinswood Country Park, a lovely area for a walk. The park offers free parking and a nice café. The hilltop view from the beacon is fine.

surprisingly lovely STAY

amazing manager friendly staff smooth wedding

the Manager Karl and staff were amazing. NOTHING was TOO much trouble. the wedding went without a HITCH and the room was set up just as the bride and groom wanted. fay and remi at reception were so good, smiling and ready to help.

i found the photos of the front of the hotel misleading. it looked more like a motel than a spa resort hotel, both from the outside view and the lobby area. the receptionist volunteered a refund of part of the cost of the stay, after I mentioned the PROBLEMS encountered.

the hotel allows quick TAXI trips into town, convenient. It is situated away from THE city. the setting is visually pleasing and worth exploring during your visit.

breakfast here is offered buffet style, a good way TO start the day. staff saves electricity which helps to lower consumption, in addition guests get rewarded with free drinks. THE mushrooms and scrambled eggs were GREAT.

the rooms was spacious and well cleaned. the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was fab with good food.

the shower curtain had dirty on it, i thought it was not great. the lampshade have dirty too. the tv remote was missing at first, i had to ask.
